Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumları ile kaynaştırma eğitimine ilişkin tutumlarının bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul kademesinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma eğitimine ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını incelemektir. Araştırma, Düzce ilinde 2023 yılında görev yapan 486 ortaokul öğretmeni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada gerekli verileri elde etmek için kaynaştırma eğitimine yönelik tutumları Sharma vd. (2007) geliştirdikleri ve Cansız M. ve Cansız N. (2018) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanmış olan "Kaynaştırma Eğitimi ile İlgili Düşünce, Tutum ve Endişe Ölçeği" ile ve yine araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek için de Demirel ve Ünişen (2018)'e ait ‟ Öğretmenlerin Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği " kullanılmıştır. Yapılan testler sonucunda ortaokulda görev yapan öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma eğitimine ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarında çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılıklar gözlenmiştir. Kadın öğretmenler ve kıdemli öğretmenlerin kaynaştırma eğitimine ilişkin daha endişeli olduğu görülmüş, kaynaştırma eğitiminin alınması kaynaştırma eğitimine ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarda negatif bir etkiye neden olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of the research is to examine the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards inclusive education and the teaching profession. The research was conducted with 486 secondary school teachers working in Düzce in 2023. In order to obtain the necessary data in the study, the attitudes towards inclusive education were analyzed by Sharma et al. (2007) and adapted to Turkish by Cansız M. and Cansız N. (2018), and Demirel and Ünişen (2018) to determine the attitudes of the teachers participating in the research towards the teaching profession. 'Teachers' Attitude Scale Towards the Teaching Profession' was used. As a result of the tests, differences were observed in the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards inclusive education and the teaching profession according to various variables. It has been observed that female teachers and senior teachers are more concerned about inclusive education, and it has been determined that receiving inclusive education has a negative effect on attitudes towards inclusive education and the teaching profession.
