Günümüzde veri toplama, depolama ve iletim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi ile birlikte günlük hayatın pek çok uygulama alanında (ekonomi, elektronik ticaret, sağlık gibi) veriler toplanabilmektedir. Bu toplanan verileri kullanan akıllı sistem uygulamalarını geliştirebilmek için veriye dayalı modelleme ve problem çözüm tekniklerine ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu süreçlerin manuel yönetimi uzmanlık bilgisi gerektirmekte ve gerçek zamanlı uygulamalara imkân vermemektedir. Bu nedenle veriye dayalı modellerin üretilmesi, bu modellere dayalı olarak tahmin ve sistem cevabı optimizasyonun otomatik ve güvenilir bir şekilde yapılması gerekmektedir. Bu tez çalışması, bu ihtiyacı karşılayabilmek için, mevcut metasezgisel yöntemler ve hesapsal zekâ teknikleri kullanılarak nümerik verilere dayalı optimal model üretimi ve model tabanlı metasezgisel analiz yöntemi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, ilk aşamada, veri kümelerini iyi temsil edebilen optimal Yapay sinir ağı (YSA) modeli elde edildi ve ikinci aşamada ise bu optimal YSA tabanlı veri öğrenme modeli ile veri kümeleri üzerinde tanımlanabilecek uygulamaya dönük analiz ve optimizasyon problemlerinin çözümü çalışıldı. Bu iki aşama birleştirilerek veriye dayalı model tabanlı metasezgisel veri analizi ve problem çözümünü otonom gerçekleştirebilen bir sistematik çözüm mimarisi uygulanmıştır. Bazı seçilen mühendislik uygulamalarında önerilen yöntemin etkinliği değerlendirildi. Deneysel çalışmalarda, market talep siparişi tahmini, elektronik-burun ile hava kirletici tahmini, imalat sanayisinde delik-delme problemi ele alındı ve test veri setleri için uygulanabilir sonuçlar elde edildiği gözlemlendi.
Nowadays, with the development of data collection, storage and transmission technologies, data can be collected in many application areas of daily life (such as economy, electronic commerce, health). In order to develop intelligent system applications that use these collected data, data-driven modeling and problem solving techniques are needed. The manual management of these processes requires expert knowledge and hence it does not allow real-time applications. Therefore, generation of data-driven models, forecasting and system response optimization based on these models should be done automatically and reliably. In this thesis, to meet this requirement, numerical data-driven optimal model generation and model based metaheuristic analysis methods are investigated by using existing metaheuristic methods and computational intelligence techniques. For this purpose, at the first stage, optimal Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models, which can well represent data sets was obtained, and at the second stage, with these optimal ANN based data learning models, solutions of application-oriented analyses and optimization problems, which can be defined on these data sets, are studied. By combining these two stages, a systematic solution architecture, which can autonomously perform data-driven model-based metaheuristic data analysis and problem solving, is applied. The effectiveness of the proposed method was evaluated in some selected engineering applications. In experimental work, market demand order estimation, air pollutant analysis with electronic-nose, hole-drilling problem in the manufacturing were discussed and it was observed that applicable results were obtained for the test data sets.
