Abstract:
Öz:Ureteral stentler ürolojide sık olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ancak migrasyon, fragmentasyon, enkrustasyon, taş gelişimi, stentlerin çıkarılmalarının unutulması ve bu sorunların tedavisi halen tartışmalıdır. Bizim, stentin unutulduğu ya da uzun süre kaldığı 3 hastamızda, taş gelişen stentleri çıkarmak için bir hastaya elektrohidrolitotripsi, diğer hastaya sistolitotomi ve piyelolitotomi, 3. hastaya da piyelolitotomi operasyonları gerekmiştir. Unutulan stent komplikasyonlarını önlemek için, double-j yerleştirilen her hastaya mutlaka olası komplikasyonları hatırlatılmalı ve gerekli eğitim verilmelidir. Her hasta için seçilmiş uygun endoürolojik, medikal veya cerrahi yöntemler hastaların böbrek fonksiyonlarını koruyarak stentlerden kurtulmalarını sağlayacaktır

Öz (İngilizce):Ureteral stents have frequently been utilized in urologie practice. However, migration, fragmentation, encrustation, stone formation, to be forgotten and the treatment of these problems are still clinical concerns. Three of our patients, the stents were kept for along time or forgotten and one of them underwent to electrohydrolithotripsy for bladder stone, a second one needed cystolithotomy and pyelolithotomy, a third one a/so had a pye/olithotomy. To prevent resembling problems, every patient who was placed double-j ureteral catheter must be warned and educated about probable complications. The medical, endourological and surgical precautions and techniques which are adjusted for each patient, will make possible the stent retrival by preserving the kidney functions.
