    An Example the Changing Settlement in Turkey: Arguvan Province Center (Malatya)

    The settlements in Turkey change as a result of natural events such as earthquake, landslide and flood. Arguvan Province, which was changed the place the three times in 1966, 1977 and 1988s, is an example moving settlements because of landslide. Some of people who is living destroyed houses, have to move another place in Arguvan because of the massive movements and collapse, moreover, population is getting decline on account of Province's restricted economic structure and natural disasters. Take notice the impacts of the landslide on settlement, in this study is to determine the characteristics of the place of old and new settlements places, and to investigate its problems, and to try to improve suggestions.
