Öğe THE INFLUENCE OF THE FACTORS THAT AFFECTING THE CHANGE OF CURRICULUM ON SOCIAL STUDIES AND SCIENCE CURRICULUM(T.C. Milli Egitim Bakanligi, 2019) Aksoy G.; Taşkin G.The aim of this study was to examine the factors affecting the change of curriculums, to determine the extent to which they affect the curriculum and to describe their degree of influence on the common basic skills in the Social Studies and Science curriculum which have integrated curriculum structure. In the research, data were obtained by using the qualitative research design and document analysis method. Descriptive analysis was used to analyse the data. While the descriptive analysis was performed, the effect of the factors that change the curriculum, the values in the curriculum, basic skills, competencies and the points to be taken into consideration in the implementation of the curricula categories were created. Based on the obtained data, the most influencing factors affecting curriculum were 21th century skills, Turkish Qualifications Framework and National Education Quality Framework while the least influencing factors were Decisions of the National Education Council. In case of common basic skills of Social Studies and Science curriculums were mostly affected by 21th century skills, Turkish Qualifications Framework, 10th Development Plans and National Education Quality Framework however TIMMS and Decisions of the National Education Council did not have any impact. © 2019.
