    Abstract: We investigate half-lightlike submanifolds with planar normal sections of 4-dimensional pseudo-Euclidean space. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for a half-lightlike submanifold of R 4 2 such that it has degenerate or nondegenerate planar normal sections.

    Matris lie grupları üzerine

    Bu çalışmada matris Lie grubu ile ilgili kavramlar üç bölüm halinde biraraya getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Birinci bölümde modern dftferensiyel geometri ve genel olarak bir G Lie grubu için temel kavramlar ve teoremler verilmiştir, îkinci bölüm tamamıyle GL(n, IH) matris Lie grubuna ay rılmıştır. Bu bölümde Önce matris Lie grubu kavramı, verilmiş ve daha sonrada GL(n,IR)) grubu için önemli, temel tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde de SL(nfJR) matris Lie grubunun özel - matris Lie alt grupları üzerinde durulmuş tur. Bu bölümde özellikle, GL(n,IR)) matris Lie grubunun alt gruplarından olan Çift şemsiyeli matris Lie grupları., Şemsiye matris Lie grupları, Üstel matris Lie grupları, ve bu Lie grup larının difer ensiyel geometrisi üzerinde durularak önemli. tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. Bu çalışma 72 sayfa olup günümüz diferensiyel geomet risi ve matris Lie grupları üzerinde araştırma yapmak is teyenlere gerekli bilginin toplandığı bir eserdir.

    On lightlike hypersurfaces of a semi-Riemannian space form

    Abstract: In this paper, we study a Lightlike hypersurface of a semi-Riemann manifold. We show that a lightlike hypersurface is totally geodesic if and only if it is locally symmetric. Also, we show that a lightlike Hypersurface of Misplaced & is totally geodesic under some restrictions. Finally, we give some results ou Ricci curvature of a lightlike hypersurface to be symmetric.

It is shown that each QR-submanifold of quaternion Kaehlerian manifold with dim?? is a manifold with an almost contact 3-structure. We apply geometric theory of almost contact 3-structure to the classification of QR-submanifolds (resp.Real hypersurfaces) of quaternion Kaehler manifolds (resp.IR4m, m > 1). Some results on integrability of an invariant distribution of a QR-submanifold and on the immersions of its leaves are also obtained.
