The world economy has been faced with deep economic crisis since the second half of 2008. The underdeveloped and developing countries are under the threat of global seasonal change together with this crisis. The problem of financial crisis in conjunction with the petrol, food and water crises will get deeper. When exit crisis strategies are defined, monetary policies, financial policies, the reconstruction of international institutions, and state interventions come into prominence. Green economy, the economy concept that takes basis renewable energy which has emerged through all world’s steering for environmental technologies, policies and investments with the application of these fundamental policies, is seen as an alternative to provide solutions to both global warming and global economic crisis. Many studies have shown that “green sectors” are important both in resolving environmental crises and overcoming global economic crisis with the employment effects they create and capital they return. In this study, the negative effects of global economic crisis on economy, and exit crisis policies will be examined and within this context, green economy applications will be dwelled on and some policy suggestions will be offered.
