BİR MESLEKİ EĞİTİM MERKEZİNDE ÖĞRENİM GÖREN ÖĞRENCİLERE VERİLEN İLK YARDIM EĞİTİMİNİN ETKİNLİĞİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

| dc.description.abstract | Öz:Araştırma, bir Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi’nde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin ilk yardım bilgi düzeyini belirlemek ve sunulan eğitimin etkinliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapıldı. Kesitsel ve yarı deneysel nitelikte olan çalışmanın örneklemini, Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi’ne kayıtlı olan ve aynı zamanda bir yüksek riskli teknoloji kolunda çırak olarak çalışan 80 öğrenci oluşturdu. İlk yardım soru formu, öğrencilere; eğitim öncesi, eğitimden hemen sonra ve eğitimden altı ay sonra olmak üzere üç ölçüm zamanında uygulandı. Öğrenciler, haftada üç gün art arda interaktif eğitim teknikleri kullanılarak verilen ilk yardım eğitimine tabi tutuldu. Eğitim sonrası birinci ve üçüncü aylarda öğrencilere WhatsApp grubu üzerinden ilk yardıma yönelik bilgi mesajları gönderildi. Çalışma verileri, SPSS 22.0 istatistiksel paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi öğrencilerinin ilk yardım bilgi düzeylerinin; eğitim öncesi düşük olduğu, eğitimden hemen sonra yükseldiği ve eğitimden altı ay sonra tekrar düştüğü belirlendi. Ölçüm zamanlarına göre, ilk yardım ile ilgili ifadelere verilen cevaplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu saptandı (p<0.05). Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi öğrencilerine verilen ilk yardım eğitiminin, kısa vadede öğrencilerin bilgi düzeyi artışında etkili olduğu, ancak uzun vadede etkisinin devam etmediği belirlendi. Hedef grubun düzeyine uygun olarak ilk yardım eğitimlerinin planlanması ve eğitimin etkinliğinin sürekli değerlendirilmesi önerilir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Öz:The research was carried out to determine the first aid knowledge of the students studying in a Vocational Training Center and to evaluate the effectiveness of the training provided. The sample of the cross-sectional and semi-experimental study was constituted of 80 students who were registered in the Vocational Training Center and were also working as trainees in a high-risk technology branch. The first aid questionnaire was applied to the students three times as; before the training, immediately after the training and six months after the training. The students were subjected to first aid training which was given by using interactive training techniques, for three consecutive days a week. In the first and third months after the training, information messages about first aid were sent to the students via the WhatsApp group. Study data were evaluated by using SPSS 22.0 statistical package program. Vocational Education Center students’ first aid knowledge levels were determined; to be low before the training, to increase immediately after the training and to decrease again six months after the training. According to the measurement times, it was detected that there was a statistically significant difference between the answers given to the statements about first aid (p <0.05). It was determined that first aid training provided for the students at the Vocational Education Center was effective in increasing the students’ levels of knowledge in the short term, but its’ effect did not continue in the long term. It is recommended to plan first aid training in accordance with the level of the target group and to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the training. | en_US |
