dc.description.abstractİnönü Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Yoğun BakımÜnitelerinde çalışan 23 doktor, 69 hemşire,hizmetli ve personel, 61 hasta ve 47 laboratuvar personelinden oluşan toplam 200 kişinin burun,aksilla ve elinde Staphylococcus aureus ve MRSA taşıyıcılığını saptamak amaçlanmıştır. Toplam 200 kişinin 71’inden (%35) 86 stafilokok izole edilmiştir. İzole edilen stafilokokların 16’sı (%19) metisilin dirençli S.aureus (MRSA), 70’i metisilin duyarlı S.aureus (MSSA) olarak saptanmıştır. Yoğun bakımda görevli personelin sadece ikisinin burun kültürlerinde MRSA saptanmıştır. İzole edilen MRSA suşlarının antibiyotiklere daha dirençli oldukları gözlenmiştir. Glikopeptidlere direnç görülmemiştir. Hastane personelinde metisiline dirençli S.aureus taşıyıcılığının belirli aralıklarla araştırılması ve gerekli önlemlerin alınması bu mikroorganizmaya bağlı hastane infeksiyonlarının azalmasına neden olacaktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractWe aimed to study the carriage of Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA in total of 200 persons (23 doctor, 69 nurse and hospital staff, 61 patient and 47 laboratory personel) working in Intensive Care Unıts in Inonu University the Faculty of Medicine. We isolated staphylococcus from 71 persons (71/200)(35%). Between them, 16(19 %) strains were identified as Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and 70 of them were named as Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA). From the Intensive Care Unıt’s staff, only two MRSA were isolated from nasal culture. MRSA strains were found more resistant to antibiotics.There has been not found any resistance to glycopeptides. Detection of MRSA carriage in hospital staff regularly and to get all precautions may reduce the infections with this microorganism.en_US
