Özet
Öz:Araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının etkili yaşam boyu öğrenme düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından karşılaştırılarak belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada, genel tarama modellerinden karşılaştırma türü ilişkisel tarama modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evreni, 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında Türkiye'nin her coğrafi bölgesinden bir devlet üniversitesinin eğitim fakültelerinin birinci ve dördüncü sınıflarında öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarından oluşmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemi, çok aşamalı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenerek, 2159 öğretmen adayından oluşmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Etkili Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler, Mann Whitney U ve Kruskall Wallis H testleri kullanılmıştır. Grup ortalamaları arasındaki farkın etki büyüklüğü de incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, öğretmen adaylarının etkili yaşam boyu öğrenmeye yüksek düzeyde sahip oldukları, kadın öğretmen adaylarının etkili yaşam boyu öğrenme düzeylerinin erkek öğretmen adaylarınınkine göre daha yüksek olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte öğretmen yetiştirme programına sadece bir dönem dahil olmuş öğretmen adayları ile programı tamamlamak üzere olanlar arasında etkili yaşam boyu öğrenme düzeyleri açısından bir farklılık olmadığı da ortaya çıkmıştır
Abstract:The purpose of this study is to compare and determine the effective lifelong learning levels of pre-service teachers in terms of various variables. The relational screening model of comparative type was used in this study among general screening models. The universe of the study consists of pre-service teachers studying at the first and fourth grade of faculties of education of a state university from each geographical region of Turkey in the spring term of the 2013–2014 academic year. The research sample consisted of 2159 pre-service teachers determined by the multi-stage sampling method. The Effective Lifelong Learning Scale was used as a data collection tool. Descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests were used in the analysis of the data. The effect magnitude of the difference between group means was also examined. In this study, it was concluded that pre-service teachers have a high level of effective lifelong learning and female pre-service teachers have higher effective lifelong learning levels. Furthermore, it was revealed that there is no statistical difference between pre-service teachers that were included in the teacher training program only for a period and those who are about to finish the program in terms of effective lifelong learning levels
