Özet
Bu çalışmada, kliniğimize nekrotizan fasiit tanısıyla kabul edilen hastaları inceledik.
Materyal ve metod: Üç yıllık bir periyod içerisinde kliniğimizde tedavi edilmiş 14 nekrotizan fasiit vakası retrospektif
olarak incelendi.
Bulgular: Hastaların dokuzu erkek (%64,3), beşi kadındı (%35,7). Sekiz hasta 60 yaşın üzerinde idi (ortalama
yaş:58,9). On hastada diabet (%71,4), üçünde periferik damar hastalığı (%21,4), ikisinde malignansi (%14,3) mevcut
In this study, we investigated these cases admitted to the clinic with diagnosis of necrotizing fasciitis. Material and methods: Fourteen cases of necrotizing fasciitis, treated in the our the clinic in a period of three years were evaluated retrospectively. Results: There were 9 male (64,3%) and 5 female (35,7%) patients. Eight patients were older than 60 years of age (mean age: 58,9). Ten patients were diabetic (71,4%), 3 suffered from peripheric vascular disease (21,4%), 2 patients had malignancy (14,3%) and 2 patients had no predisposing factors (14,3%). Four patients had history of trauma (28,5%), 6 patients had undergone surgery (42,9%) and 2 patients had pressure sores. In all cases microorganisms were isolated and surgical debridement was performed. Two patients (14,3%) deceased in the whole group. Conclusion: Early diagnosis, surgical debridement and intensive care treatment are important in the prognosis of the necrotizing fasciitis.
