EBELERİN SOSYAL ZEKÂ DÜZEYLERİ İLE MESLEK ALGILARININ BELİRLENMESİ

| dc.description.abstract | Öz:Bu çalışmada, ebelerin sosyal zekâ düzeyleri ile meslek algılarının belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Tanımlayıcı olarak yapılan çalışmanın örneklemini 15 Ağustos-12 Eylül 2020 tarihleri arasında bir devlet hastanesinde görev yapmakta olan ve araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan 105 ebe oluşturdu. Çalışmanın verileri sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve meslek algılarını sorgulayan anket formu ve Tromso Sosyal ZekâÖlçeği (TSZÖ) ile yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak toplandı. Çalışmada, ebelerin; %80’i insanlarla etkili bir iletişim kurabildiğini, %54,3’ü meslektaşlarıyla kurum içi ve kurum dışı sorun yaşamadığını, %55,2’si atama için yapılan sınavların sosyal zekâyıölçecek şekilde olması gerektiğini, %16,2’si mesleki anlamda gerekli sosyo-kültürel faaliyetlere katıldığını belirtti. Ebelerin Tromso Sosyal ZekâÖlçeği toplam puan ortalamaları 75,03±20,126’dır. İnsanlarla etkili iletişim kurabilen (p=0,006), mesleki anlamda gerekli sosyo-kültürel faaliyetlere katılan (p=0,044) ebelerin sosyal zekâ düzeylerinin istatistiksel olarak daha anlamlı olduğu bulundu (p<0,05). Araştırmada ebelerin sosyal zekâ düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulundu. İnsanlarla etkili iletişim kurabilen, mesleki anlamda gerekli sosyo-kültürel faaliyetlere katılan ebelerin sosyal zekâ düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna varıldı. Sosyal zekânınyüksek olması kişilerarası iletişim düzeylerinin etkili olmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Öz:In this study, it was aimed to determine the social intelligence levels and the professional perceptions of midwives. The sample of the descriptive study consisted of 105 midwives who were working in a state hospital between August 15 and September 12, 2020 and volunteered to participate in the study. The data of the study were collected by using face to face interview method with the questionnaire form questioning the socio-demographic characteristics and professional perceptions, and Tromso Social Intelligence Scale (TSIS). In the study, of the midwives; 80% stated that they were able to communicate effectively with people, 54.3% stated that they did not experience internal and external problems with their colleagues, 55.2% stated that the exams for assignment should measure social intelligence, 16.2% stated that they participated in professionally necessary socio-cultural activities. The total mean score of midwives’ Tromso Social Intelligence Scale is 75,03±20.126. It was found that the social intelligence levels of midwives who can communicate effectively with people (p=0.006) and participate in professional socio-cultural activities (p=0.044) were statistically more significant (p <0.05). In the study, it was found that the social intelligence levels of midwives were high. It was concluded that midwives who can communicate effectively with people and participate in professionally required socio-cultural activities have higher social intelligence levels. High social intelligence contributes to the effectiveness of interpersonal communication levels. | en_US |
