| dc.description.abstract | Öz:Sistemli eğitimin ilk asaması olan okulöncesi eğitimle bireye verilecek İngilizce eğitimi, temel eğitimden baslayarak, İngilizceye karsı olumlu tutum gelistirilmesi, farklı dil ve kültürlerin farkına varılması, yabancı dil eğitiminin baslangıcını olusturması açısından oldukça önemlidir. Örneklemi, Niğde iline bağlı Bor ilçesindeki MEB’na bağlı bağımsız bir anaokulunda eğitim alan 4 yas gurubundan on üç, 5 yas grubundan on bir ve 6 yas grubundan on bir olmak üzere toplam otuz bes çocuk olusturmaktadır. Çocukların İngilizce eğitimi sırasında derse olan tutumları, ilgileri gözlenmis ve gözlemler yarı yapılandırılmıs gözlem formuna kaydedilmistir. Çalısma, konulara göre verilen İngilizce sözcüğün karsılığı olan nesneyi seçme ve verilen nesnenin İngilizce karsılığını söyleme düzeylerini ölçme ile sınırlı tutulmustur. Örneklemde yer alan çocukların hiçbiri baslangıçta İngilizce bilmediği için ön test uygulanmamıstır. Eğitimden sonra son test uygulanarak, veriler frekans dağılımı ve yüzdelik değerler olarak çözümlenmistir. Test, her çocuğa birebir uygulanarak elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmistir. Sonuç olarak; verilen nesnenin İngilizce karsılığını söylemede basarı oranı; 4 yas için %66.6, 5 yas için %86.1, 6 yas için %78.7 ve İngilizce adı söylenilen nesnenin resmini gösterme basarı oranı; 4 yas için %74.1, 5 yas için %93.5, 6 yas için %84.4 olduğu bulunmustur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract:Teaching English to young children at preschool, which is the first grade of the systematic education, is quite important in terms of developing some positive attitudes toward English. It is intended in this study to investigate the attitudes and interests of young children for English lessons. For this purpose, first they were observed using an observation form. Study was conducted at a nursery school in Bor, which serves thirty five children, thirteen of whom aged 4, eleven aged 5, and eleven aged 6. The study was restricted to choosing an English object related to the subjects and measuring their ability to say the English meaning of given objects. Considering that all the children had not known any English, a test wasn’t carried out beforehand. After the education, the data was analyzed using frequency distribution and percentage values. Consequently, based on evaluation of every child in an appropriate environment, following statistics results were obtained: 1. Saying: 66.6% for the age of 4, 86.1% for the age of 5, 78.72% for the age of 6, 2. Choosing: 74.1% for the age of 4, 93.5% for the age of 5, 84.4% for the age of 6. | en_US |
