Özet
Qur'an, the last divine revelation sent to whole community to allow them find the right way, is a book requesting from its followers to reflect, understand its verses and to form rightly communities according to its revelad principles. The main aim of the Qu'ran is both to offer a life that would be liked by Allah in this world and not to allow to be faced by severe punishment hereafter. The most fundamental task of the human being is to show his/her slavery to his/her Creator by thanking infinite blessings given by Allah. The most universal message of the Qur'an is this fact. The foremost way of understanding what the verses say by people who don't know the Qur'anic language Arabic is to apply to translations. In our country translation writing process is continuing incessantly. But, it is also a fact that most of the translations are not at the desired level particularly in terms of target language, Turkish. This condition in fact shades the universal messages. In this article, some problems preventing the reflection of universal messages of the Qur'an such as translation letter by letter, insufficient usage of both Turkish and Arabic, inaccurate determination of the pronouns which have fundamental importance in the determination of the meanings and inconsideration of the conjunction are explained by examples.
