Several lipase immobilization schemes have been investigated employing formation of covalent bonding, precipitation by acetone and adsorption method using silica gel, porous glass and Amberlite IRA 938 as organic carriers. The immobilized enzyme suitable for fat interesterification and lipolytic activity is obtained by immobilization of lipase on Amberlite IRA 938 by adsorption method.en_US
