The purpose of this study is investigating spirality of the content of Matter and Change learning domain from 5th to 8th grade arranged by Ministry of National Education within 5-8th grade Science and Technology curriculum in 2004. In this study, descriptive survey model within the scope of qualitative research was used. While the topics about atoms, molecules, elements, compounds and mixtures was arranged in compliance with spirality property in the Science and Technology Programme; chemical bonds and states of matter concepts were partially arranged according to spirality. Absence of the topics of heat, physical and chemical change in 7th grade that will provide a basis for the knowledge of 8th grade is a deficiency in terms of spirality.
