Özet
Cardiac tamponade, especially posterior tamponade,is one of the most serious and potentially lethal com-plications occurring in a minority of patients after openheart surgery and yet most potentially correctable of allpostoperative problems. A small amount of pericardialeffusion placed posterior pericardium may compromisethe left atrium and ventricle, and might lead to tampon-ade.1,
