In recent years, distributed generation based on renewable energy has been popular due to environmental and economic concerns. Moreover, it is expected that the integration of distributed generation will increase with the developments over smart grid technologies. When this increase is small, the effects of distributed generation on the power system dynamics can ignore. On the other hand, if the level of integration is higher, it affects the dynamic behavior of the whole power system. In addition to the amount of integration, it is possible to face problems in the power system stability due to renewable energy sources with low inertia constant and uncertain feature. In this study, the effects of distributed generation based on renewable energy are investigated about power system stability. To investigate this effect, the IEEE 30 bus power system reorganized with distributed generations such as wind and sun by using the MATLAB program. Stability scenarios were produced and the stability responses of the power system were analyzed.en_US
