Öğretmenlerin yıldırma (mobbing) davranışıyla ilgili algıları: Battalgazi İlçesi ortaöğretim kurumları örneğ

Abstract

Yıldırma, 1960'lı yıllardan itibaren kullanılmaya başlanmış, rahatsız edici davranışlarda bulunma veya psikolojik şiddet uygulama anlamında bir kavramdır. Yıldırma hareketlerine insanın bulunduğu hemen her yerde olabildiği gibi eğitim öğretim hizmetinin verildiği okullarda da rastlanmaktadır. Yıldırma hareketlerinin yapılmasında birçok değişik faktör etkili olabilmektedir. Çalışanın kendisini diğer arkadaşlarından üstün görmesi, arkadaşının bulunduğu statüye ulaşma arzusu, arkadaşının kendisinin yerine geçebileceğinden korkması gibi sebeplerle ortaya çıkan yıldırma hareketleri maruz kalanın kişisel özelliklerine göre farklı şekillerde algılanmaktadır. Orta öğretim kurumlarında çalışanların yıldırma algılarının tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılan çalışmanın sonuçları bağlamında eğitim çalışanlarının cinsiyet, yaş gurubu, medeni durum, aylık gelir, kıdem durumu, hizmet süresi, çalışma saati, eşinin çalışma durumu, okuduğu üniversite, nüfusa kayıtlı olunan yer ve yetişilen yer değişkenlerine göre yıldırmaya maruz kalma durumunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmazken öğrenim durumuna göre yıldırmanın işe yöneliklik alt boyutunda, çalışılan okuldaki öğretmen sayısına göre yıldırmanın işe yönelik alt boyutunda, çocuk sahibi olma durumuna göre yıldırma ve yıldırmanın dışlama alt boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir.

Mobbing is a concept that has been used since the 1960s to engage in disturbing behavior or to practice psychological violence. Mobbing acts can be found in almost every place where people are found, as well as in schools where education is provided. Many different factors can be effective in mobbing acts. The act of mobbing is perceived in different ways according to the personal characteristics of the exposed person due to the fact that the employee considers himself above his other friends, the desire to reach the status of his friend, the fear that his friend can replace him. In the context of the results of the study conducted in order to determine the mobbing perceptions of the employees in the secondary education institutions, there was no statistically significant difference in the exposure to mobbing in terms of the gender, age group, marital status, monthly income, seniority status, service period, working hours, working status of the spouse, the university where he/she studied, the place where the population was registered and the place variables, yet; in the sub-dimension of mobbing according to the level of education, statistically significant differences were found in the sub-dimension of mobbing according to the number of teachers working in the sub-dimension of mobbing and the exclusion sub-dimension of mobbing.
