Kentsel mekânda ayrışma bağlamında "Çocuk Mekânları"Sivas Kardeşler Mahallesi örneğinde bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışma, farklı toplumsal sınıflara ve kimliğe sahip çocukların gündelik hayat pratikleri çerçevesinde kentsel mekân ile geliştirdikleri ilişki biçimleri ve kentsel mekâna erişimlerini mekânsal ayrışma pratikleri çerçevesinde ele almıştır. Henry Lefebvre'in mekâna toplumsal bir bakış açısı sunan kuramı ile David Harvey'in mekânsal ayrışma ile sınıfsal yapı arasında bağlantı kurduğu mekânsal ayrışma kuramı çalışmanın teorik çerçevesini oluşturmuştur. Buna göre, kapitalizmin dönüştürdüğü kentte mekânsal ve toplumsal örgütlenme sınıfsal yapı temelinde şekillenir. Kapitalist kentin toplumsal eşitsizlikleri besleyen yapısı toplumsal sınıfların mekânsal olarak ayrışmasını beraberinde getirir. Ailelerinin sınıfsal konumunu paylaşan çocukların mekânsal ayrışma çerçevesinde kentsel mekâna erişimleri de sınıfsal konum ve kimlik dolayımında belirlenir. Bu çerçevede çocukların kentsel mekânla kurduğu ilişki, kapitalist kentteki eşitsiz toplumsal ilişkiler sonucu belirlenen sınıfsal yapı temelinde ele alınarak nesnel bir şekilde açıklanmaya çalışılmış; yapılandırılmış görüşme planı ile elde edilen bulgular ise niteliksel olarak çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmanın teorik çerçevesini ve hipotezlerini test etmek amacıyla sahaya taşınan çalışmada Kardeşler Mahallesi'nde lüks konut alanlarında ve gecekondu bölgesinde yaşayan çocukların mekânsal ayrışma ekseninde kentsel mekâna erişimlerindeki farklılıklar incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede çalışma sahasındaki farklı sınıfsal konuma/kimliğe sahip çocukların oyun alanlarının, eğitim alanlarının, spor alanlarının ve kültür alanlarının ayrıştığı ve dolayısıyla mekânı farklı biçimlerde deneyimledikleri bulgusu elde edilmiştir.

This study deals with the spatial segregation of urban space and the way in which children have developed with different social calasses and identity within the framework of daily life practices. The theoretical framework of this study is created by Henry Lefebvre's theory which provides a social perspectives to space and David Harvey's theory which connects between spatial segregation and social class structure. According to this, the spatial and social organization which is created by capitalism is determined by class structure. The structure of the capitalist city, which nourishes social inequalities, has brought about spatial seperation of social classes. The children who share the class position of their families, is determined by their class position and social identity to access to urban space. In this context, the children relationship with the urban space was determined by the means of the class structure as a result of inequal social relations in the capitalist city. The results which are gained from the structed interview were analyzed qualitatively. In order to test the theoretical framework and hypotheses of the study, were discussed differences in access to urban space according to differential space of children who live in luxury residental areas and squatters in Kardeşler location. In this context, it has been found that educational areas, sports fields, and culturel areas of children, who have different social position/identity, are seperated from each other. And so they experince the places in different ways.
