Abstract

İnsan kendini çevreyle irtibat kurmada zihnin yardımıyla yeni yöntemler geliştirir. Bu açıdan hayvan türleri arasında rastlanan alıcı ve etkileyici sistem yanında, insanda simgesel düzen olarak betimleyici olarak bir halka buluyoruz. Cassirer bu hususa sıklıkla eserlerinde değinir. Bahsettiğimiz halka yani sembol üretimi insanı özgürleştirir. Kendine yeni bir evreni sembollerle oluşturur. İşte yeni halka insan yaşamının tümüne etki eder ve değiştirir. Bu iplikler insan yaşantısının karmaşık dokularını oluşturur. İnsanın düşünce ve deney alanındaki tüm başarıları ve kazanımları simgesel ağı açık kılar ve güçlü hale getirir.
