İnternet dizilerinde bedenin temsili: Fi dizisi üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Televizyon dizileri geçmişten bugüne toplumun ilgi odağı olmuştur. İnternet teknolojisinin gelişmesi her alanda olduğu gibi medyada da önemli değişikliklere yol açmıştır. Geleneksel medya televizyonunun kullanımı da bu sayede çeşitlenmiştir. Bu çeşitliliklerden birisi de dizilerin artık internet üzerinden takip edilmesidir. Teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte internet dizilerinin izlenme oranı artmış, yaşam tarzları internet dizileri üzerinden takip edilmeye başlanmıştır. Azra Kohen'e ait Fi kitabının uyarlaması olan Fi dizisi milyonları bulan izleyiciye ulaşmıştır. Dizi karakterleri giyiminden içtikleri içeceklere kadar toplum tarafından takip edilmektedir. Çalışma bu bağlamda modern ve postmodern yaşam tarzına da değinmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı Puhu TV'de yayınlanan Fi dizisinde kadın ve erkek bedenlerinin nasıl temsil edildiğini incelemektir. Alımlama analizi ve içerik analizi yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı çalışmada, Fi dizisinin bütün bölümleri izlenip analizi yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma güncel ve dikkat çeken bir dizi olan Fi dizisi ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Dizi modern yaşamı ele alan özellikleriyle çözümlemeye uygun bir dizi olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmada alımlama analizi verileri farklı mesleklerden diziyi izleyen 10 kişinin katılımı ile elde edilmiş ve analiz edilmiştir. İçerik analizi kısmında ise dizinin 12 bölümü izlenmiş ve özellikle kadın ve erkek bedenlerinin temsili ile ilgili sahneleri değerlendirilerek analize dahil edilmiştir. Yapılan analizlerde kadın ve erkek bedenlerinin sunumunda oldukça fazla kategoriye rastlanmıştır. Erkek bedenlerinin sunumunda, güç, iktidar, metroseksüel, sportif, sağlık gibi sunum şekilleri tercih edilmiştir. Kadın bedenlerinin sunumunda ise daha fazla kategoriye rastlanmıştır. Kadın bedeni saf güzellik vurgusu, soyunan beden imgesi, başarılı ve modern çalışan kadın, bedene yönelik şiddet, cinsellik ve lezbiyen kategorileri şeklinde verilmiştir. Bu sunum şekillerinde görüldüğü gibi kadın ve erkek karakterlerin sunum şekilleri günümüz erkek egemen, ezilen ve her türlü şiddete maruz kalan kadın gerçekliğini yansıtmaktadır. Bununla birlikte değişen toplum yapısı çerçevesinde kadın ve erkeğin sunum şekillerinde meydana gelen yeni trendler doğrultusunda, metroseksüel erkek sunumunun yanı sıra, güzel, şık giyinen ve mesleğinde başarılı kadın sunumları da postmodern yaklaşım kapsamında değerlendirilebilmektedir. Television series have been the focus of attention of the society from past to present. The development of internet technology has led to important changes in the media, as in every field. The use of traditional media television has also been diversified in this way. One of these variations is that the series are now followed over the internet. With the technological developments, the rate of watching internet series has increased, and life styles have begun to be followed over internet series. Fi series, adapted by Azra Kohen's Fi book, has reached millions of viewers. The characters of the series are followed by the society, from their clothing to the drinks they drink. In this context, the study also mentions on the modern and postmodern lifestyle. The purpose of the study is to analyse how female and male bodies are represented in the Fi series broadcast on Puhu TV. In the study where the reception analysis and content analysis method was used, all parts of the Fi sequence were watched and analysed. This study is limited to the Fi series, a current and remarkable series. The series was chosen as a series suitable for analysis with its features dealing with modern life. In the study, reception analysis data were obtained and analysed with the participation of 10 people from different professions. In the content analysis section, 12 episodes of the series were followed and especially the scenes related to the representation of female and male bodies were evaluated and included in the analysis. In the analysis, quite a lot of categories were found in the presentation of the male and female bodies. In the presentation of men's bodies, presentation types such as power, metrosexual, sporty and health were preferred. More categories were found in the presentation of women's bodies. The female body is given in the form of pure beauty emphasis, the image of the undressed body, the successful and modern working woman, violence against the body, sexuality and lesbian categories. As can be seen in these presentations, the presentation styles of male and female characters reflect the reality of the male dominated, oppressed and exposed to all kinds of violence. However, in line with the new trends occurring in the presentation of woman and man within the framework of the changing social structure, besides the metrosexual male presentation, beautiful, stylishly dressed and successful women presentations can be evaluated within the scope of the postmodern approach.
