4-6 yaş aralığındaki çocukların sosyal becerileri ile annelerinin duygusal istismar potansiyelleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 4-6 yaş aralığındaki çocukların sosyal becerileri ile annelerinin duygusal istismar potansiyelleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma tarama modelinin kullanıldığı betimsel bir çalışmadır. Örneklem grubunu okul öncesi eğitime devam eden 300 çocuk ve anneleri oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, 3-6 Yaş Çocuğa Sahip Ebeveynlere Yönelik Duygusal İstismar Potansiyeli Ölçeği (DİPÖ) ve Sosyal Becerileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği (SBDÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde; t-testi, pearson korelasyon testi, anova ve çoklu regresyon testlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları; çocukların sosyal becerileri ile cinsiyet, anne eğitim düzeyi ve baba mesleği değişkenleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken; baba eğitim düzeyi, anne meslek durumu, ailenin gelir seviyesi, çocuğun okul öncesi eğitim alma süresi ve çocuk sayısı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği yönündedir. Annenin duygusal istismar potansiyeli ise; anne ve baba eğitim seviyesi, anne mesleği, ailenin gelir düzeyi, çocuk sayısı ve çocuğun okul öncesi eğitim alma süresi değişkenleri bakımından anlamlı farklılık gösterirken; çocuğun cinsiyeti ve baba meslek durumu değişkenleri bakımından anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Duygusal istismar potansiyeli ölçeği önleyici alt boyutu ile sosyal beceri değerlendirme ölçeği sonuçları kabul etme becerileri alt boyutu ve kendini kontrol etme becerileri alt boyutu arasında anlamlı derecede ilişki bulunmazken; sosyal becerileri değerlendirme ölçeğinin diğer tüm alt boyutları ile duygusal istismar potansiyelleri ölçeğinin tüm alt boyutları ve toplam ölçek puanları arasında negatif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca sosyal beceri değerlendirme ölçeği ile duygusal istismar potansiyeli ölçeğinin alt boyutları ve toplam puanları arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between the social skills of children aged 4-6 and their mothers' emotional abuse potential. This research is a descriptive study using scanning model. The sample group consists of 300 children attending pre-school education and their mothers. Personal Information Form, Emotional Abuse Potential Scale for Parents with 3-6 Years-Old Children (DIPÖ) and Social Skills Evaluation Scale (SBDÖ) were used to collect data. In the analysis of data; t-test, pearson correlation test, anova and multiple regression tests were used. Research results; while there was no significant difference between children's social skills and variables of gender, mother's education level and father's profession; father's education level, mother's occupation status, family income level, the child's pre-school education period and the number of children vary significantly. The mother's potential for emotional abuse is; While there are significant differences in terms of mother and father education level, mother's profession, family income level, number of children and the duration of the child's pre-school education; There was no significant difference in terms of the gender of the child and the father's occupation status variables. While there was no significant relationship between the preventive sub-dimension of the potential for emotional abuse scale, the skills to accept the results of the social skills assessment scale, and the sub-dimension of self-control skills; It was concluded that there is a negative relationship between all other sub-dimensions of the social skills assessment scale and all sub-dimensions of the emotional abuse potentials scale and total scale scores. In addition, it was concluded that there is a negative significant relationship between the sub-dimensions and total scores of the social skills assessment scale and the potential for emotional abuse scale.
