Bilim ve sanat merkezlerindeki resim yetenek alanı öğrencilerinin gördükleri sanat eğitimiyle ilgili veli görüşleri (Adıyaman ili örneği)

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Bilim ve Sanat Merkezlerinde resim alanında özel yetenekli olarak tanılanan Öğrencilerin Gördükleri Sanat Eğitimiyle İlgili Veli Görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Yirminci yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren dünya genelinde özel yetenekli bireylere yönelik ilginin arttığı görülmektedir. Bu paralelde Türkiye'de de çeşitli çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Bu alanda günümüz Türkiye'sinde özel yetenekli bireylerin eğitimi noktasında en kapsamlı kurumlar Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleridir. Özel yetenekli öğrencilerin örgün eğitim saatleri dışında destek eğitimi aldığı Bilim Sanat Merkezlerine son yıllarda toplum nezdinde artan bir ivmeyle ilginin arttığı ifade edilebilir. Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri genel zihinsel yetenek, müzik ve resim olmak üzere üç temel alanda eğitim vermektedir. Bu araştırmada Resim alanı özelinde ve Adıyaman ili örneğinde öğrencilere verilen sanat eğitiminin veliler açısından ne derecede olduğu, verilen sanat eğitiminin bu anlamda velilerin beklentilerini karşılayıp karşılamadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırma, resim alanında özel yetenekli olarak tanılanan öğrencilerin velileriyle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma, Nitel durum çalışması kapsamında 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında Adıyaman ilinde bulunan üç Bilim ve Sanat Merkezindeki 44 veli ile görüşme formları üzerinden yapılmıştır. 8 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formlarından alınan veriler sonucunda her soru kapsamında veli görüşlerinin genel anlamda olumlu olduğu görülmektedir. Velilerin; Bilim ve Sanat merkezlerinde verilen sanat eğitimiyle ilgili bilgi sahibi oldukları, öğretmenleri ile iletişim halinde oldukları, öğrencilerin kendi örgün eğitim okullarından olumlu geri dönüş aldıkları, öğrencilerin yaratıcılık, özgün düşünme, sanatsal konulara ilgisinin artığı Bilim ve Sanat Merkezlerindeki sanat eğitimini yeterli gördükleri ifade edilebilir. The purpose of this research is to examine the Parent's Views on Art Education of Students who are gifted in the field of art in Science and Art Centers. Since the middle of the twentieth century, it is seen that the interest towards gifted individuals has increased throughout the world. In parallel with this, various studies have been carried out in Turkey. In this field, in today's Turkey, the most comprehensive institutions for the education of gifted individuals are Science and Art Centers.It can be stated that the interest in Science and Art Centers, where gifted students receive support in the time remaining from their formal education hours, has increased with an increasing momentum in recent years.Science and Art Centers provide education in three basic areas: general mental abilities, music and art. In this research, it has been examined how the parents see the art education given to the students both in the field of Art and in the example of Adıyaman province, and whether the given art education meets the expectations of the parents in this sense. The research was conducted with the parents of the students who were defined as gifted in the field of art by semi-structured interview technique.The research was conducted through interview forms with 44 parents in three Science and Art Centers in Adıyaman in the 2022-2023 academic year within the scope of the qualitative case study.As a result of the data obtained from the semi-structured interview forms consisting of 8 questions, it is seen that the views of the parents are generally positive within the scope of each question.It can be stated that the parents have knowledge about the art education given in the Science and Art Centers, they are in contact with their teachers, the students receive positive feedback from their own formal education schools, and they see the art education in the Science and Art Centers as sufficient, where the students' creativity, original thinking and interest in artistic subjects increase.
