Cumhuriyeti kurulduğu yıllarda, yeterli sermaye birikimi ve güçlü burjuvazinin yetersizliği nedeniyle,
siyasi-bürokratik kesimlerin ülke yönetiminde belirleyici etkisi söz konusu olmuştur. Siyasi ve bürokratik
kesimle uyumlu ilişki geliştiren devletçi burjuvazi, piyasa ve rekabet koşullarından ziyade, devleti yönetenlerle
geliştirdiği patronaj ilişki sayesinde ekonomide etkili olmuştur. Bu durum, siyasal hayatta güçlü ve örgütlü
yapılardan ziyade, tekçi bir toplum modeline elverişli ortam hazırlamıştır. Ancak 1970’li yılardan itibaren dünya
ölçeğinde yayılan “neo-liberal” veya “yeni sağ” düşüncesinin Türkiye’deki siyasi temsilcileri ve Anadolu
burjuvazisi, Türkiye’deki değişimin önünü açmıştır. Bu bağlamda Türkiye’de 1980’li yıllar; yeni ekonomi
anlayışın gelişmesinde ve İslami düşünce ve sermayenin güçlenmesinde dönüm noktasını oluşturmuştur.
Erbakan’la siyasette temsil edilen bu kesim, Özal döneminde ekonomi ve siyasette etkin olmaya başlamış
sonuçta Erdoğan dönemiyle de siyaseti değiştiren ve dönüştüren aktör olmuştur.
In the years when the Republic was founded, due to the lack of sufficient capital accumulation and the
strong bourgeoisie, it was the decisive influence of the political-bureaucratic sectors. The statist bourgeoisie,
