Analysis of injury risk levels in young footballers: A review of functional movement screens and static balance scores
(Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica, 2024) Fahrosi A.T.; Anam K.; Setiowati A.; Sugiarto S.; Susanto N.; Wijanarko T.; Setyawan H.
Injury or wound is damage to the structure or function of the body due to physical force or pressure. This study aims to analyze the risk of injury in young footballers in terms of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) based on static balance scores. This study used a descriptive observational research method. The subjects were 31 young footballers (age 13.6±0.5 years, BMI 19.5±2.2 kg/m , TD 15.5±10 months). The data collection instrument involved FMS and Stand Stork Test (SST). The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. This study found that the FMS score with a high injury risk category was 6.45% in the SST poor category. Meanwhile, FMS scores in the moderate injury risk category were 19.35% in the SST moderate category, 32.25% in the SST poor category, and 3.25% in the SST very poor category. FMS scores in the low injury risk category were 6.45% in the moderate SST category and 32.25% in the poor SST category. The conclusion is that SPSS soccer academy students have a potential risk of injury in the moderate category and a static balance level in the less category. In addition, after reviewing the results of FMS scores based on SST scores, it can be concluded that FMS scores in the moderate category are found in samples with poor category SST, which is 32.25%. This study suggests improving static balance to prevent the risk of sports injuries in young footballers. Similar research in the future is also recommended, especially the one that uses other physical component variables and different research sample characteris-tics. © 2024 Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica. This systematic review aims to provide in-depth information regarding effective verbal communication in physical education learning and sports coaching to improve achievement and health. The literature review was conducted identifying, evaluating, and interpreting relevant research results. To collect data, an online search was performed using Scispace software, focusing on journals indexed by the Scopus database, DOAJ, and published between 2019 - 2024. The journals were selected based on inclusion criteria: international and national journals indexed by Scopus, DOAJ, and Sinta. The keywords used were; "Effective Verbal Communication", "Physical Education Learning", and "Sports Coaching". The search generated 95 articles. Other 7 registered articles were also obtained from other sources using the inclusion criteria determined beforehand. These articles then went through a screening process, and 10 articles were selected as they matched the theme and the inclusion requirements. For standard operationalization, this research follows the PRISMA method. The research six main results. First, (1) Good verbal instructions from trainers or teachers were proven to improve the quality of students' understanding, motivation, and level of physical activity. They had a positive impact on achievement and fitness or physical health. Besides personal benefits, effective verbal communication was known to improve interpersonal relations, cooperation, coordination, and team performance among students and athletes. This study also found that encouragement of verbal communication helps adolescent students understand sports rules and techniques, improve physiological reactions and skills, and improve physical fitness and performance. Fourth, verbal communication in Indonesian facilitated active participation, teacher-student interaction, increased understanding and safety of athletes, and preserved positive cultural values in sports. Next, it was found that good use of Indonesian in sports training encouraged proper understanding and improved performance and safety in sports activities. Finally, this study noted several obstacles faced by physical education teachers. However, these challenges can be overcome by incorporating communication strategies that use modern technology to encourage student activity and the effectiveness of physical education learning. © Federación Española de Asociaciones de Docentes de Educación Física (FEADEF).

(Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica, 2024) Gusliana H.B.; Ardiyanto S.Y.; Setyawan H.; Putro B.N.; Kurniawan A.W.; Zulbahri Z.; Gerdijan N.
This research aims to examine the legal review of bullying cases against students with disabilities in physical education learning at school. The research was conducted using the systematic literature review method. To achieve the objectives, data were obtained using Scispace software from online scholar databases, such as Scopus and DOAJ. It focused on articles published between 2019 - 2024. The articles were selected based on inclusion criteria: articles published in international journals indexed in Scopus and DOAJ databases. The research employed certain keywords: "Bullying Cases", "Students with Disabilities", and "Physical Education Learning Activities". Based on the search results, 90 articles were initially found in journals indexed in Scopus and DOAJ. Next, these articles were screened again to finally generate 10 articles. They were selected that matched the theme and met the inclusion require-ments. The data analysis involved a standard operationalization called the PRISMA method. The results of this literature review found several conclusions, including (1) A long-term, collaborative approach is most effective in reducing bullying among students with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among students, teachers, and parents, (2) Developing ongoing special sports programs can empower these students and identify participation barriers, (3) A strategic framework, including problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, is necessary to create a safe and inclusive learning environment, alongside a cultural studies approach to understand the interplay between culture, law, and disability rights, (4) Intensive teacher training is crucial to meet indi-vidual student needs and adapt learning strategies. Finally,(5) There is a significant gap in access to online inclusive education for students with disabilities, necessitating policies to ensure equal learning opportunities through technology. © 2024 Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica.
