Virtual World has turned into a platform that we can reach anywhere and anytime of our life, especially with growing mobile technology. Beyond that, with various virtual reality applications, it has become easier for people to organize, direct and encourage their own lives. One of the most recent and popular practices that have encouraged today's young people, who have become passive in terms of moving, to go hiking in the city, spend time in the parks, and make these activities regular, has undoubtedly become the Pokémon Go game. Pokémon Go is a virtual reality based game that was launched on July 6, 2016, which encourages people to walk regularly, and visit parks and squares. The application, the mobile game version of the Japanese anime series named Pokémon, which was first launched in Turkey at ATV on January 31, 2000 and soon became a big fan base, also received much attention in our country. In this study, Pokémon Go, which was announced as the most downloaded app on Appstore and Google Play in the first week of publication, focused on the daily life effects of users and tried to detect changes in their habits about public space usage.
