dc.description.abstractSince the great depression in1929, today world economy has faced with the largest and the deepest crisis. The economic crisis, which started in the middle of 2007 at financial markets, has turned into dramatic occasion in the second half of 2008 and got under control real economy. The economic crisis that has started with the financial crisis in developed countries has begun to affect the developing countries at last quarter of 2008. As a result of globalism, the 2008 economic crisis has affected Turkey as much as developed economies. Growth rate of Turkey has decreased with the effect of the crisis, moreover unemployment rate has increased. Particularly, productivity, capacity utilization rate, and employment of manufacturing industry, the leader sector of economy, have decreased much. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effects of the crisis which started the mid of at 2007 over real economy within the scope of Turkish manufacturing industry. Thus, we first examine the causes of the global crisis, and then we discuss its effects on Turkish economy and the manufacturing industry.en_US
dc.description.abstractBugün, dünya ekonomisi, 1929 bunalımından bu yana görülen en büyük ve en derin krizle karşı karşıya gelmiş bulunmaktadır. 2007 yılı ortalarında finansal piyasalarda başlayan kriz, 2008 yılının ikinci yarısında dramatik bir hâle dönüşmüş ve reel sektörü de etkisi altına almıştır. Gelişmiş ülkelerde finansal krizle başlayan ekonomik kriz, 2008 yılının son çeyreğinde gelişmekte olan ülkeleri de etkilemeye başlamıştır. Yaşanan 2008 krizi, küreselleşmenin sonucu olarak gelişmiş ekonomileri etkilediği kadar Türkiye’yi de etkilemiştir. Türkiye’de büyüme oranı, krizin etkisiyle büyük ölçüde düşmüş, işsizlik oranı ise artmıştır. Özellikle ekonominin sürükleyici sektörü olan imalat sanayinin; üretimi, kapasite kullanım oranı ve istihdamı önemli ölçüde düşmüştür. Çalışmanın amacı, 2007 yılı ortalarında finansal piyasalarda başlayan krizin, reel sektör üzerindeki etkilerini Türkiye imalat sanayi çerçevesinde incelemektir. Bu doğrultuda; öncelikle küresel krizin çıkış nedenleri, daha sonra da Türkiye ekonomisi ve imalat sanayi üzerine etkileri ele alınacaktır.en_US
