| dc.description.abstract | Milletlerin hayatında ad verme/adlandırma önemli bir yer işgal etmektedir. Her toplum çocuklarına vereceği isimden başlamak üzere, yapmış olduğu işlere, yaşadığı mekânlara, ürettiği ürünlere, yazdığı veya yaptığı esere varıncaya kadar her şeyi isimlendirme ihtiyacı duymuştur. Toplumlar, geçmişlerini, atalarını, kahramanlarını ve tarihteki önemli olaylarını çocuklara, mekânlara, kurumlara vs. ad olarak vererek geçmişle bağ kurmaya ve kurulan bu bağı da diri tutmaya çalışırlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenlerinin şair ve yazar isimlerinin ortaöğretim kurumlarına ad olarak verilmesinin Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretimine katkı sağlayıp sağlamadığına dair düşüncelerini belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemleri ve durum çalışması deseninden faydalanılan bu çalışma, Ankara ili merkezinde bulunan Abdurrahim Karakoç Anadolu Lisesi (Keçiören), Halide Edip Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Yenimahalle), Yunus Emre Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Yenimahalle), Ömer Seyfeddin Anadolu Lisesi (Çankaya), Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Anadolu Lisesi (Yenimahalle)’nde 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında görev yapan Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenleri ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verileri, çalışma grubundaki öğretmenlerin görüşlerini belirlemeyi amaçlayan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin, yapılan içerik analizi sonucunda, araştırmanın bulguları dört ana tema altında toplanmıştır. Bunlar, “okullara yazar ve şair isimleri vermek; ismi verilenlerin edebiyat öğretimindeki yeri; ismi verilenlerle ilgili okullarda yapılanlar ve öğrenciler açısından ismi okullara verilen sanatçılar”dır. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcılar, “bu uygulamanın devam etmesi; öğrencilerin ilgili şair ve yazarla ilgili meraklarının arttığı, buna karşılık uygulamanın öğrencilerin okul tercihlerine etki etmediği” düşüncelerini ifade etmişler; katılımcıların bir kısmı okullarına isimleri verilen sanatçıların ders öğretim programındaki yeri ve bu isimlerle ilgili okullarda yapılan faaliyetleri “yeterli” görürken, bazı katılımcılar ise “yetersiz” bulmuşlar; bu yetersizliği gidermek için ilave çaba harcanması gerektiğini ve öğrencilerin bu husustaki farkındalığının istenilen seviyede olmadığını belirtmişlerdir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Naming / giving names in the lives of nations occupy an important place. Every society has had the need to name everything it has to give to its children, from the things they have done, to the places they have lived, to the products they produce, to the things they have written or made. Societies try to connect with the past and keep this connection alive by naming their past, ancestors, heroes, and important events in history to their children, places, institutions, etc. The aim of this research is to determine the views of Turkish Language and Literature teachers on whether the names of the poets and writers should be given as names to the secondary education institutions and whether they contribute to the teaching of Turkish Language and Literature. This study, which is based on the qualitative research methods and situation study design, was conducted in the province center of Ankara by Abdurrahim Karakoç Anatolian High School (Keçiören), Halide Edip Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (Yenimahalle), Yunus Emre Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (Yenimahalle), Ömer Seyfeddin Anatolian High School (Çankaya), and Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Anatolian High School (Yenimahalle), was conducted with teachers of Turkish Language and Literature who worked in the academic year of 2017-2018. The research data were obtained by a semi-structured interview form aiming to determine the opinions of the teachers in the study group. As a result of the content analysis of the data obtained, it was seen that the findings of the study were gathered under four main themes. These are "giving schools the names of writers and poets; the place of the given names in literature teaching; and the artists whose names are given to schools in terms of the students ". As a result of the research, participants commented "The continuation of this practice; the students' curiosity about the poet and the author increased whereas the practice did not affect the students' school preferences" and some of the participants found the place of the artists whose names were given to schools and their activities related to these names in the curriculum were "adequate", while some participants found "inadequate" and they added that additional efforts must be made to overcome this inadequacy, and that pupils' awareness in this area is not at the desired level | en_US |
