Özet
This case report evaluated the effects of a hands-on approach (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises, myofascial release techniques, Rocabado's 6 × 6 exercises, and home exercises) for a 28-year-old patient with neck, lumbar, and temporomandibular joint pain and difficulty opening the mouth. She was treated for 2 months. The Visual Analog Scale, Jaw Restriction Scale, and Oral Habits Checklist were used to evaluate pain, restriction of jaw movements, and oral/parafunctional habits, respectively. After treatment, a decrease in pain and limitation of jaw function were seen, as an improvement in her behaviors. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.
