Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı spor tesislerinin ve eğitim kurumlarının engelliler açısından erişilebilirlik standartlarına uygunluğunun incelenmesidir. Materyal ve metot: Araştırma, tekil tarama modeli kullanılarak, kesit alma yaklaşımından faydalanılarak tasarlandı. Araştırmanın evrenini Malatya ilinin Yeşilyurt ilçesi sınırları içerisindeki eğitim kurumları ve spor tesisleridir. Araştırmanın örneklemi bu evrende ki 39 İlkokul, 17 Ortaokul, 4 Lise ve 4 Spor tesisi dahil edilerek oluşturuldu. Tesis ve eğitim kurumlarının uygunluğu Engelliler İçin Evrensel Standartlar Kılavuzu'na göre değerlendirildi. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 25.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Bulgular: Engelliler için binaların uygunluk durumuna göre yapılan incelemede bazı ilkokul ve ortaokulların uygun olmadığı belirlendi. Binalarda görme engelliler için hissedilebilir yüzey, merdivenlerde tutunma küpeştesi ve asansör olup olmaması üzerine yapılan incelemede liselerin uygun olmadığı belirlendi. Binalardaki zeminin ve derslik kapılarının engeliler için uygunluğu üzerine yapılan incelemede tüm lise, ortaokul ve spor tesislerinin uygun olduğu ancak zeminin 2 ilkokulda dersliklerinde 1 ilkokulda uygun olmadığı belirlendi. Binalardaki masa ve sıraların engeliler için uygunluğuna göre yapılan incelemede sadece spor tesislerinin %100 oranla uygun olduğu belirlendi. Binalarda engelli tuvaleti olup olmaması durumuna göre yapılan incelemede okullardan 7'sinde, spor tesislerinde 2'sinde uygun olmadığı belirlendi. Son olarak aydınlatmaların uygunluğu üzerine inceleme sonrasında tüm binaların uygun olduğu belirlendi. Sonuç: İncelenen spor tesislerinden ve eğitim kurumlarından bazıları engellilerin, kullanımı açısından yetersizdir. Özellikle ilkokul düzeyinde eğitim verilen binaların birçoğunun lise ve spor tesislerine oranla daha yetersiz bulunmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Engelli Bireyler, Erişebilirlik, Engelliler İçin Eğitim
Aim: The purpose of this research is to examine the compatibility of sports facilities and educational institutions with accessibility standards for the disabled. Material and Method: The research was designed using the single-scan model, using the cross-section approach. The universe of the research is educational institutions and sports facilities within the borders of Yeşilyurt district of Malatya province. The sample of the research was formed by including 39 primary schools, 17 secondary schools, 4 high schools and 4 sports facilities in this universe. The suitability of facilities and educational institutions was evaluated according to the Universal Standards Guide for Persons with Disabilities. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 package program. Results: In the examination made according to the suitability of the buildings for the disabled, it was determined that some primary and secondary schools were not suitable. It was determined that high schools were not suitable for the visually impaired in the examination on whether there was a tactile surface for the visually impaired, a handrail on the stairs and an elevator. In the examination on the suitability of the floors and classroom doors in the buildings for the disabled, it was determined that all high schools, secondary schools and sports facilities were suitable, but the floors in 2 primary schools and the classroom doors in 1 primary school were not. In the examination made according to the suitability of the tables and benches in the buildings for the disabled, it was determined that only the sports facilities were suitable with a 100% rate. In the examination made according to whether there are disabled toilets in the buildings, it was determined that 7 of the schools and 2 of the sport facilities were not suitable. Finally, on the suitability of the lightings, it was determined that all the buildings were suitable. Conclusion: Some of the examined sports facilities and educational institutions are insufficient for the use of the disabled. It was found that most of the buildings that provide education at primary school level are more inadequate than high school and sports facilities.
