dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, lise öğrencilerinin duygusal zekâ ile ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin duygusal zekâ ve ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri ile önceden belirlenmiş olan bazı demografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek çalışmanın temelini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma nicel bir çalışmadır ve ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma evrenini Malatya merkez ilçelerinde (Battalgazi-Yeşilyurt) öğrenim görmekte olan 10. ve 12. sınıf ortaöğretim öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, Ay (2020) tarafından geliştirilen "Ahlaki Olgunluk Ölçeği", ve Tatar, Tok ve Saltukoğlu (2011) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanması yapılmış "Schutte Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği" ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan verilerle, frekans ve yüzde değerleri, normallik testleri, t-testi, anova, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, öğrencilerin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri arasında orta düzeyde ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Bu iki değişken arasında yapılan regresyon çalışmasında ise pozitif yönde ve zayıf bir ilişki görülmüştür. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile onların yaş, sınıf ve lise türleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık görülmezken, cinsiyet, yaşanılan yer, ailenin gelir durumu, anne-baba tutumu, akademik başarı ve sosyal ilişkilerdeki mutluluk derecesi arasında farklılıkların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Aynı şekilde, öğrencilerin ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri ile onların yaş, sınıf, lise türleri ve ailelerinin ekonomik durumları arasında anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı görülürken, cinsiyet, yaşanılan yer, anne-baba tutumu, akademik başarı ve sosyal ilişkilerdeki mutluluk derecesi arasında farklılıkların olduğu görülmüştür.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between high school students' emotional intelligence and moral maturity levels. For this purpose, determining the relationship between students' emotional intelligence and moral maturity levels and some predetermined demographic variables forms the basis of the study. Accordingly, surveys were conducted in line with the determined hypotheses and the results were shared. The study is a quantitative study and a relational survey model was used. The research population consists of 10th and 12th grade secondary school students studying in Malatya central districts (Battalgazi-Yeşilyurt). The data of the research were collected with the "Moral Maturity Scale" developed by Ay (2020), and the "Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale" adapted into Turkish by Tatar, Tok and Saltukoğlu (2011). Frequency and percentage values, normality tests, t-test, anova, correlation and regression analyzes were performed with the collected data. As a result of the study, a moderate and positive relationship was determined between the emotional intelligence levels of the students and their moral maturity levels. In the regression study conducted between these two variables, a positive and weak relationship was observed. In addition, while there was no significant difference between students' emotional intelligence levels and their age, class and high school types, it was determined that there were differences between gender, place of residence, income status of the family, parental attitude, academic success and happiness in social relations. Likewise, it was observed that there was no significant difference between the moral maturity levels of the students and their age, class, high school types and the economic status of their families, while there were differences between gender, place of residence, parental attitude, academic achievement and the degree of happiness in social relations.
