dc.description.abstractIn this paper, He's Exp-function method is applied to the one-dimensional. generalized regularized long wave (RLW) equation with the nth power nonlinear term of dependent variable to obtain its some new generalized solitonary solutions and periodic solutions. It is shown that the Exp-function method, with the help of any symbolic computation packages, provides a straightforward and powerful mathematical tool for solving other generalized nonlinear evolution equations arising in mathematical physics.en_US
