Özet
Bu çalışma İslam'ın ilk döneminde Yemâme bölgesininin coğrafi konumunu ve bu bölgede yaşayan kabilelerin İslam ile ilişkilerini konu edinmiştir. Yemâme bölgesi Arap Yarımadası'nın Orta ve Doğu kısmında yer alan yer yer su kaynaklarına sahip, çöllük ve dağlık bir bölgedir. İslam öncesi dönemde Yemâme bölgesinde çeşitli topluluklar yaşamış ve bunlardan Kinde kabilesi gibi bazıları devlet kurmuşlardır. Sonraki dönemlerde Temim kabilesi buraya hâkim olmuştur. Temim kabilesinin alt kolları olan Hanzale b. Malik, Rebia, Bekir b. Vail, Şeybanoğulları ve Beni Hanife kabilesi ile birlikte Bahile kabilesi de buraya yerleşmiştir. İslam'ın ortaya çıktığı dönemde de özellikle Beni Hanife gibi bazı kabileler burada yaşamaya devam etmiştir. Aynı zamanda diğer bölgelerden de buraya göçler olmuştur. Bu kabileler İslami dönemden sonra birtakım askeri ve iktisadi faaliyetler yürütmüşlerdir. Bölgede İslam'ın yayılmasıyla birlikte zamanla otoriteyi tanımayan gruplar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu grupların ortaya çıkmasında kabileler arası rekabet gibi sosyolojik ve zekât vermekten kaçınmak gibi iktisadî sebepler etkili olmuştur. Beni Hanife kabilesine mensup olan Müseylime'nin peygamberlik iddiasının arka planında da bu sebepler bulunmaktadır. Hz. Peygamber döneminde peygamberlik iddia etmiş olsa da Müseylime ile asıl mücadele Hz. Ebu Bekir döneminde gerçekleşmiştir. Gün geçtikçe güçlenen ve etkilediği insan sayısı artan Müseylime'nin üzerine Halid b. Velid ve ordusu gönderilmiştir. Müslümanlar ile Müseylime'ye inanan grup arasında meydana gelen Akrabâ Savaşı'nda Müslümanlar galip gelmiştir.
This study focuses on the geographical location of the Yamamah region in the first period of Islam and the relations of the tribes who were living in this region with Islam. The Yamamah region is a desert and mountainous region where is studded with local water resources in the Central and Eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula. In the pre-Islamic period, various communities lived in the Yamamah region and some of them, such as the Kindah tribe, established a state. The Bahila tribe also settled here, along with Banu Hanzala ibn Malik, Rabi'ah, Banu Bakr bin Wa'il, Banu Shayban and Banu Hanifa tribe, which are sub-branches of the Tamim tribe. After the emergence of Islam, some tribes such as Banu Hanifa continued to live here. At the same time, there have been migrations from other regions. These tribes carried out some military and economic activities after the Islamic period. With the spread of Islam in the region, groups who did not recognize the authority emerged. Sociological such as competition between tribes and economic reasons such as giving zakat were effective in the emergence of these groups. There is also these reasons which in the background to the prophecy claim of Musaylimah who is a member of the Banu Hanifa tribe. Even though he claimed to be a prophet in the time of the Prophet, the main struggle against Musaylimah was in the time of Abu Bakr. Halid b. Walid and his army were sent Against Musaylimah who is getting stronger day by day and increasing the number of people affected. Muslims were victorious in the War of Aqrabâ between the Muslims and the group that believed in Musaylimah.
