Özet

Polarization-independent splitting of self-collimated transverse-electric and transverse-magnetic polarized waves in a two-dimensional square photonic crystal are demonstrated. The beam splitting is facilitated by the existence of sharp edges in flat equifrequency contours. © 2012 IEEE.
