The Islamic Movement has developed with quite different factions after the Ottoman Empire. Some names led by Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, the man of idea and action, continued their struggles until the 1980s, even with different methods. After September 12, the same struggle lost its effect and softer attitudes developed. Some radical groups, who consider showing partially liberal reflexes as weakness by trying to be included in the system, have also managed to survive in this transition period. One of these groups is the IBDA Movement, led by Salih Mirzabeyoğlu. As the years went by, Mirzabeyoğlu and his friends expressed their discomfort both from the Islamic community and the main elements of the political system in their "confrontational" style. This tense environment, which has always been at the peak points, has led to the emergence of groups that act under the influence of Mirzabeyoğlu's ideas and each refer to violence, which they call "IBDA-C" or deem it necessary. By the time of February 28, Mirzabeyoğlu also took his share of the uncompromising attitude applied by the system towards Islamic groups and was sentenced to life imprisonment. He wrote many of his works in 16 years of imprisonment. In these works, which can focus on different genres in a religiously Sunni line, and in which the philosophical tendency is prominent in thought, he integrated the Great East heritage he inherited from Necip Fazıl with the IBDA intellectual. Today, around him and his ideas, the IBDA Movement and the IBDA-C attitude continue to be discussed and occupied the agenda from time to time. The idea of "The State of Başyücelik" theorized by Necip Fazıl as an ideal Islamic state is partly spoken among the followers of the Greater East-IBDA; However, even if the exact aspect of the theory is brought to the fore, the question of how feasible its implementation will remain in the air.
