| dc.description.abstract | Ortodontik tedavinin amaçlarından birisi, sadece ortodontik kriterleri değil, aynı zamanda fonksiyonel kriterleri de karşılayan bir oklüzyon elde etmektir. Ortodontik hedefleri sağlamak hasta memnuniyeti için çok önemlidir. Ancak fonksiyonel hedefleri eksik olan veya yerine getirilmeden bitirilen bir ortodontik tedavi başarılı olarak düşünülemez. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortodontik tedavi sonrasında en uygun sonuçlara ulaşmak için gereken bitirme işlemleri hakkında mevcut bilgileri derlemektir. Abstract One of the objectives of orthodontic treatment is to achieve a proper occlusion providing for not only orthodontic, but also functional criteria. It is very important to obtain orthodontic goals on patient satisfaction. However, the orthodontic treatment that has insufficiency in the functional goals of occlusion or cannot fulfill the functional needs is not considered to be successful. The aim of this study was to review the present information about finishing procedures required to achieve optimum results after the orthodontic treatment.
