Özet
Edebi eserler, toplumsal, iktisadi ve siyasi düzen üzerinde etkili olan birçok unsuru içermekte, kaleme alındıkları dönemlerin iktisadi koşullarını okuyucuya aktarmaktadır. Bilhassa romanlarda, konunun betimlenmesinde o günkü şartlar da anlatılmakta, olay örgüsü içerisinde kahramanların yaşadıkları dönemin iktisadi yapısı bilgilere de yer verilebilmektedir. Roman yazarları betimlemelerinde, kahramanlar arasındaki ilişkiler ve diyaloglarda dönemin iktisadi özelliklerini yansıtırken aynı zamanda kendilerine yakın olarak gördükleri düşünürlerin iktisadi fikirlerini roman kurgularına aktarabilmektedirler. Roman bütünlüğü içerisinde anlatılmakta olan bir olaya yazarın bakışı ile ortaya konan durumun, iktisadi olarak bir anlamının olduğunu düşünmek yanlış olmayacaktır. Zira edebi eserler de iktisatta hayatın içerisinde olan, bir yandan toplumsal yaşama etki eden diğer yandan toplumsal yaşamın bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada iktisat ve edebiyat etkileşimi üzerine odaklanılmış, Sabri Ülgener'in fikirleri üzerinden Türk edebiyatının önemli edebi eserlerinden biri olan Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü adlı romanın değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Sabri Ülgener'in çalışmalarında yer alan iktisadi düşünceleri incelenmiştir. Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü kitabının olay örgüsü içerisinde geçmekte olan kavramlar Sabri Ülgener'in iktisadi düşünceleri ile bağdaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitüsü romanında geçen olay örgüsü içerisinde yer alan kavramların Sabri Ülgener'in iktisadi düşünceleri ile benzerliklerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu açıdan bakılarak dönemin Türk toplumundaki iktisadi zihniyet hakkında bilgiler edinildiği söylenebilir. Literary works contain many elements that are effective on the social, economic and political order, and convey the economic conditions of the periods in which they were written. Especially in the novels, the conditions of that day are also described in the description of the subject, and the economic structure of the period in which the heroes lived can also be included in the plot. Novel writers reflect the economic characteristics of the period in their descriptions, relations and dialogues between the heroes, and at the same time, they can transfer the economic ideas of the thinkers they see as close to their novel fictions. It would not be wrong to think that the situation, which is revealed by the author's view of an event that is told in the integrity of the novel, has an economic meaning. Literary works emerge as a result of life in economics, affecting social life on the one hand, and social life on the other. In this study, it is focused on the interaction of economics and literature, and it is aimed to evaluate the novel called Clock Adjustment Institute, one of the important literary works of Turkish literature, through the ideas of Sabri Ülgener. Within the scope of the research, Sabri Ülgener's economic thoughts in the Book of Articles were examined. The concepts in the plot of the Time Regulation Institute book are associated with Sabri Ülgener's economic thoughts. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the concepts in the plot of the novel The Time Regulation Institute have similarities with Sabri Ülgener's economic thoughts. From this point of view, it can be said that information about the economic mentality of the Turkish society of the period was obtained.
