Özet
Üç bölümden oluşan bu tezin birinci bölümünde tezin geri kalanında gerekli olan temel tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Lie grup kavramı tanım, teorem ve örneklerle ayrıntılı olarak sunulmuştur. Lie grup homomorfizmi ve üstel dönüşüm bu bölümün başlıca konularıdır. Üçüncü bölümde ise tezin ana konusu olan Lie grupların etkileri çalışılmıştır. Bu etkiler eşdeğer dönüşümler ve yörünge manifoldları üzerinde incelenmiştir.
This thesis consist of three chapters. In the first chapter we recalled basic definitions, theorems and examples which are necessary for the rest of the the thesis. In the second chapter, we introduced concept of Lie group with definitions, theorems and examples in detail. Lie group homomorphism and exponential map are main issues in this chapter. In the third chapter we studied action of Lie groups is main issue of this thesis. The actions are examined on equivariant maps and orbit manifolds.
