Multiseptate gallbladder is a very rare congenital malformation of the gallbladder. We present the magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasonography and magnetic resonance cholangiography appearance of a multiseptate gallbladder in a 9-year-old boy. To our knowledge, this is the first description of the magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance cholangiography appearance of a multiseptate gallbladder. © 2002 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd.
