dc.description.abstractIn this paper, where the results of the research carried out in the example of Malatya province regarding the transfer of history subjects in the 5th, 6th and 7th grade social studies courses to students, the methods used in the transfer of the date topics that are aimed to be conveyed to the students, and the proposed solutions will be shared. Case study model will be used in the study and qualitative research method will be used. The members of the working group whose opinions were consulted in obtaining data in the study consist of 20 Social Studies Teachers working in secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education. A semi-structured interview form was prepared by the researcher in order to obtain the opinions of the social studies teachers who were used in obtaining the data in this study, which was supported by the Inonu University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit with the number SBA-2019-1860. The data obtained from the interview form were subjected to sub-themes and presented in tables, subject to content and descriptive analysis. Sub-themes obtained from the views of Social Studies Teachers are grouped, coded and placed in tables. Examples of sampled views on sub-themes in the tables are included. The remarkable ones of these views are detailed by the researcher. In the light of the data obtained from the study, a general judgment was reached by processing a lot of information from the teachers' lecturing method to the expectations of the students in terms of the achievements that the students should gain in the social studies lesson. © 2020 Published by ISRES Publishingen_US
