Abstract
Öz: Suç ve suçlulukla ilgili araştırmalar, suç eylemi ile düşük sosyo-ekonomik statü arasında ilişki olduğu varsayımı ile yapılır. Özellikle kentleşme sürecinin suçluluğu artırdığı, kent ortamının bir taraftan suç işlemek için daha çok fırsat sunması, diğer taraftan kent sosyal yapısında artan ihtiyaçları karşılamakta fırsat eşitsizliklerine sebep olması düşük sosyo-ekonomik statü ve suç arasında doğrusal ilişki kurulmasına yol açmaktadır.
Abstract: The reseaarches about crime and delinquency are carried out for the assumption that there is relationship between crime action and low socio-economic status. That the process of urbanisation has increased delinquency and on hand the urban environment offers much more opportunities to commit crime, on the other hand causing unequal opportunities in meeting the increasing needs in social urban structure lead to create direct relation between low socio-economic status and crime.
