dc.description.abstractThis study reports the magnetic properties of newly reported cobalt(II) complex of the antiprine Schiff base of 3-formylsalicylic acid. Assuming the isotropic Heisenberg model is valid it is suggested that there is a sizeable amount of antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between metal centers in dimeric units. It is also suggested that the system become demagnetized below a certain temperature.en_US
