Sürdürülebilir kırsal kalkınma ve göçün önlenmesi için tarımsal eğitim önerisi: bir pilot araştırma

| dc.description.abstract | Araştırma, sürdürülebilir kırsal kalkınma engeli olarak göçün önlenmesinde eğitimin etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda kırsal alanlardan kentlere yapılan göçlerin nedenleri araştırılmış ve köylerde yaşayan insanların eğitim durumları değerlendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla araştırma, Türkiye’nin İç Anadolu, Akdeniz ve Karadeniz Bölgelerinin kırsal kesimlerde uygulanmıştır. Araştırma verileri bu bölgelerden anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Toplam 123 anket değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. İstatistiki değerlendirmeler sonucunda; Cronbach Alpha değerinin 833 olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak erişilen bulgular şunlardır: 1) Araştırmanın uygulandığı kırsal kesimde insanlarının eğitim düzeyleri düşüktür. 2) Katılımcıların tamamı okullarda lise düzeyinde tarımla ilgili hiçbir mesleki eğitim almamışlardır. 3) Devlet okullarının dışında tarımla ilgili olarak mesleki eğitim alan katılımcıların oranı düşüktür. 4) Eğitim yetersizliği kırsal alanlardan kentlere olan göçün önemli sebeplerinden biridir. 5) Kırsal alanlarda tarımsal eğitimler verilirse, gelecek nesillerin yaşayabilmeleri için gerekli doğal kaynaklar korunur. | dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted to determine the effect of training in the prevention of migration as an obstacle for sustainable rural development. In this context, the causes of migration from rural areas to the cities were investigated and the educational status of people living in the villages was evaluated. For this purpose, the research has been implemented in rural part of Turkey’s Central Anatolia, Mediterranean and Black Sea regions. Research data were collected by applying a questionnaire to the region inhabitants. A total of 123 questionnaires were evaluated. On statistical analysis, Cronbach's alpha value was found to be .833. The findings are as follow: 1) People living in region have low educational levels. 2) None of the participants had received any training related to agriculture in highschool. 3) The proportion of participants receiving vocational training related to agriculture, except for state schools is low. 4) Lack of education is one of the important reasons of the migration from rural to urban areas. 5) If enough agricultural education is given to region habitants, natural resources to ensure the survival of future generations are protected.
