Türk eğitim sisteminde yapılan değişiklik ve düzenlemelerin öğrenci velileri tarafından değerlendirilmesine ilişkin bir betimleme

Özet
Bu araştırmada, Türk eğitim sisteminde gerçekleştirilen değişikliklerin ve uygulamaların öğrenci velileri tarafından nasıl algılandığının belirlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada, betimsel model kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini, 2024-2025 eğitim-öğretim yılında Malatya ilinde ortaokul ve lisede çocuğu bulunan öğrenci velileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen öğrenci velilerinden ve literatürden elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel istatistiksel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonunda; velilerin eğitim sisteminde yapılan değişikliklere ilişkin bilgi düzeyleri sınırlı olmakla birlikte, çocuklarının bireysel eğitim süreçlerine yüksek düzeyde ilgi gösterdikleri, yeni müfredata ilişkin farkındalıkları "kısmi" seviyede kalırken, öğretim programı içeriklerine dair farkındalıkları ise daha yüksek düzeyde olduğu, katılımcı görüşlerinde cinsiyet, yaş ve çocuk sayısı değişkenlerinde bir farklılık olmazken, öğrenim düzeyi ve meslek değişkenlerinde ise farklılaştığı bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Öğrenci velilerinin, eğitim sisteminin işleyişine yönelik görüşleri orta düzeyde olumlu bulunmuştur. Araştırmada, velilerin sistem hakkında daha sık bilgilendirilmeleri ve bazı konularda karara katılmalarının sağlanması önerilmektedir.
This study aims to determine and evaluate how the changes and practices implemented in the Turkish education system are perceived by the parents of students. The descriptive model was used in the study. The sample of the study consists of parents of students who have children in middle and high schools in Malatya province in the 2024-2025 academic year. The data of the study were obtained from the parents of students determined by the easily accessible sampling method and from the literature. The obtained data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis. At the end of the study; it was found that although the parents' knowledge level regarding the changes made in the education system was limited, they showed a high level of interest in the individual education processes of their children, their awareness of the new curriculum remained at a "partial" level, while their awareness of the content of the curriculum was at a higher level, and while there was no difference in the gender, age and number of children variables in the participant opinions, there were differences in the variables of education level and profession. The opinions of the parents of students regarding the functioning of the education system were found to be moderately positive. In the study, it is recommended that the parents be informed more frequently about the system and that they be included in the decisions on some issues.
