Özet
Temel amacı değerlerle işlenmiş bilgi, beceri ve davranışlara sahip bireyler yetiştirmek olan Türk millî eğitim sisteminde değerler, öğretim programları ışığında bireylere kazandırılan bilgi, beceri ve davranışları bütünleyen yapı taşları olarak görülmektedir. Öğretim programları, dayandıkları temel ilkeleri, kökleri yüzyıllar öncesine uzanan değerlerden almaktadır. Günümüzde değerler eğitimi, bütün öğretim programlarına içkindir. Bu içkinlik, müstakil bir program, öğrenme alanı, ünite veya konu belirleyip uygulamak biçiminde değildir. Türk eğitim sisteminde değerler eğitimi, bütün öğretim programlarında temel ve nihaî amaç olarak yer almaktadır. Değerler eğitiminde Türkçe eğitimi alanının önemli bir rolü vardır. MEB'in TDÖP'de (2019) belirttiği "kök değerler" adâlet, dostluk, dürüstlük, öz denetim, sabır, saygı, sevgi, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik ve yardımseverliktir. Türkçe eğitiminde öğrencilere kök değerlerin kazandırılması için temel materyal metindir. Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin nitelikleri öğretim programında sıralanmıştır. Bu niteliklere sahip metinler, değerler eğitimine kaynak oluşturmaktadır. Bu açıdan hem MEB Tâlim ve Terbiye Kuruluna bilimsel veri sağlamak hem de öğretim programlarının uygulayıcısı olan öğretmenlerin öğrencilere kitap tavsiyelerinde kılavuz olması bakımından edebî eserler üzerinde "kök değerler" araştırması yapılması önemli ve gereklidir. Bu çalışmada, Tarık Dursun Kakınç'ın "Hoşça Kal Küçük" isimli eseri, TDÖP'de (2019) belirtilen kök değerler çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Kök değerlere uygunluğu tespit edilen bulgular sınıflandırılmış, bunların değerler eğitiminde hangi bağlamlarda yararlı olabilecekleri yönünde yorum ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Kök değerlerin eserdeki görülme sıklığı tablo hâlinde gösterilmiştir. Çalışmada "Hoşça Kal Küçük" romanının bütün kök değerleri işlediği görülmüş ve değerler eğitimi için etkili bir kaynak olabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The primary goal of the Turkish national education system, which aims to raise individuals equipped with information, skills, and behaviors shaped by values, sees values as the foundational building blocks that complement the knowledge, skills, and behaviors imparted to individuals through the curriculum. The curricula are based on core principles derived from values that date back centuries. Today, values education is inherent in all curricula. This inherent nature is not applied through a separate program, learning area, unit, or topic. In the Turkish education system, values education is present as a fundamental and ultimate goal in all curricula. However, it is clear that the Turkish language education field carries the greatest responsibility in values education. The 'core values' specified by MEB in the TDÖP (2019) are justice, friendship, honesty, self-discipline, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism, and helpfulness. In Turkish language education, the primary material for imparting core values to students is the text. The characteristics of the texts in Turkish textbooks are outlined in the curriculum. Texts with these characteristics serve as a source for values education. In this regard, it is important and necessary to conduct research on literary works to provide scientific data to the MEB Board of Education and Discipline and to guide teachers, the implementers of the curricula, in recommending books to students. In this study, Tarık Dursun Kakınç's work "Hoşça Kal Küçük (Farewell, Little One)" was analyzed within the framework of the core values specified in TDÖP (2019). The findings identified as consistent with core values have been classified, and interpretations and suggestions have been made regarding the contexts in which these values could be useful in value education. The frequency of the core values in the work is presented in a table. The study concludes that the novel "Hoşça Kal Küçük" addresses all core values and can serve as an effective source for value education."
