Özet
The purpose of this study is to analyze of the tendency to tolerance and helpfulness
attitude of 4th grade students in terms of certain variable. In the research, the
descriptive screening model was used. In the research, one of the purposive sampling
models, the convenience sampling method was used. 265 students from the 4th grade
in primary school have participated to the research. As a data collection tool in the
research, the personal information form, the Tolerance Tendency Scale and the
Helpfulness Attitude Scale were used. In the analysis of data, descriptive analysis and
multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used. Consequently, of primary
school 4th grade students were found to respond to the tolerance tendency scale as
completely adequate level, and as I fully agree to the helpfulness attitude scale. While
the tolerance to tendency scores of the students showed significant differences
regarding gender, father’s educational level; they have not shown significant
difference regarding mother’s educational level and socio-economic level. While the
students’ helpfulness attitude scores showed significant difference regarding gender,
mother’s educational status, father’s educational status, it did not show a significant
difference regarding socio-economic level. Proposals were developed based on the
findings derived from the research.
