Özet
Hayatımızda önemli bir yer tutan ergonomi birçok alanda geniş bir
kullanıma sahiptir. Ergonomi ve antropometrik verilerle kişilerin kullanımına
uygun ürünlerin tasarımı gerçekleştirilmektedir. Özellikle hayatımızın her
alanında kullandığımız mobilyaların ergonomik ve antropometrik sınırlar
içinde tasarımı ve üretimi önem arz etmektedir. Kişilerin antropometrik
ölçüleri; yaş, kilo, boy, cinsiyet, beslenme ve yaşadıkları yere göre farklılık
göstermektedir. İnsanların vücut ölçülerine uygun tasarlanan mobilyalar,
kişilerin mobilyayı rahat ve tam verim alarak kullanabilmesini sağlar. Üretilen
ya da tasarlanma aşamasında olan mobilyalar kullanıcının (bebek, çocuk,
genç, yetişkin, yaşlı, engelli vb.) bedensel, ruhsal özelliklerine ve
antropometrik ölçümlerine uygun tasarlanmalıdır. Antropometrik ölçütlere
uygun olmayan mobilyalar kullanıcıların yapısal ve fiziksel gelişimlerini
olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bunun engellenebilmesi için konu ile alakalı
mevcut standartların belirlenmesi, ülkemizdeki mobilya kullanıcılarının yaş
gruplarına göre belirlenip antropometrik ölçülerinin tespit edilmesi
gerekmektedir. Yapılacak olan diğer tasarımlar için toplanacak antropometrik
veriler bir havuz haline getirilip uygun ölçü aralıkları tam olarak tespit
edilmelidir. Bu sayede gelecekteki tasarım çalışmaları kullanıcı ölçü ve
sınırları içinde kalacak ve insan sağlığı üzerinde oluşabilecek muhtemel kas
iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıkları engellenmiş olacaktır.
Ergonomics which holds an important place in our lives, is widely used in many fields. Particularly, the design and manufacturing of furniture that we use in in all areas of our lives within ergonomic and anthropometric limits, is important. An anthropometric measurements of the person varies according to age, weight, height, sex, nutrition and where they live. Furniture designed considering the body measurements of the people enables them to use the furniture comfortably and efficiently. The physical, mental and anthropometric measurements of the users (infant, child, youth, adult, elderly, disabled etc.) should be considered while manufacturing or designing furniture. Furniture which doesn’t meet the anthropometric measurements negatively effect the structural and physical development of the people. To prevent this, ıt is necessary to set certain standards, to identify furniture users in Turkey based on age groups and identify anthropometric measurements. For furniture designs, the collected anthropometric data should be collected in a repository and optimal measurements ranges should be identified. Thus, the furniture designs will be within the user limits, measurements and possible musculoskeletal disorders will be prevented.
