Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, geometrinin resim sanatı içerisinde kullanımını inceleyerek, insanlık tarihinin çeşitli dönemlerinde sanatsal olarak katkılarını tespit ederek ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. İnsanlık tarihinden günümüze kadar farklı dönemlerde geometrik şekiller kullanılarak resim yapmanın sanat eserlerinde nasıl bir etki elde edildiği incelenmiştir. Sanat tarihi boyunca bazı sanatçıların çalışmalarını literatür taraması yapılarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman inceleme yöntemi kullanılarak karşılaştırmalı bir yöntem izlenmiştir. Bulgular olarak tarih öncesinden günümüz sanatına kadar geometrinin resim sanatı üzerindeki etkileri görülmüştür. Özellikle 20. Yüzyıl sanat akımlarını ve sanatçılarını etkileyen Kübizm, Fütürizm ve Soyut Sanat akımları gibi geometrik sembolleri kullanan sanat akımlarında geometrik formların sanat eserlerinde farklı anlam ve yenilikleri görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak, eski medeniyetlerden günümüz medeniyetlerine kadar, sanatçıların geometrik şekilleri kullanarak yapıtlarında denge, estetik ve uyum gibi özellikleri kazandırdıkları görülmüştür. Geometrinin resim sanatı içerisinde kullanımı, insanlık tarihiyle ortaya çıkarak bir evrimleşmeden geçerek farklı dönemlerde, farklı anlamlar yüklendiği karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Geometri, resim sanatı için estetik ve yapısal değerleri ön plana çıkarmada bir araç haline geldiği görülmektedir. Bu çalışma, geometrinin resim sanatı içerisindeki evrimini ve sanatçılar tarafından şekillendirilerek, sanatın zenginliğini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. The aim of this research is to examine the use of geometry in the art of painting and to identify and reveal its artistic contributions in various periods of human history. It was examined what kind of effect was obtained in the works of art by painting using geometric shapes in different periods from human history to the present day. Throughout the history of art, a comparative method was followed by reviewing the works of some artists throughout the history of art and using the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. As findings, the effects of geometry on the art of painting from prehistory to today's art were observed. Especially in art movements that use geometric symbols such as Cubism, Futurism and Abstract Art movements that affect 20th century art movements and artists, different meanings and innovations of geometric forms are seen in artworks. As a result, from ancient civilizations to contemporary civilizations, it has been observed that artists have used geometric shapes to bring balance, aesthetics and harmony to their works. The use of geometry in the art of painting emerged with the history of mankind, and it is seen that it has passed through an evolution and has been attributed different meanings in different periods. It is seen that geometry has become a tool to emphasize aesthetic and structural values for the art of painting. This study reveals the evolution of geometry in the art of painting and the richness of art by being shaped by artists. Keywords: Art, Art of Painting, Geometry, Mathematics.
