Özet
Gebelikte Huzursuz Bacak Sendromunun Görülme Sıklığı, Vitamin ve Mineral Kullanımı ile İlişkisi Amaç: Bu araştırma gebelikte huzursuz bacak sendromunun görülme sıklığı, vitamin ve mineral kullanımı ile ilişkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma kesitsel tiptedir. Araştırmanın evrenini Siirt Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi kadın doğum polikliniklerine başvuran gebe kadınlar oluşturmuştur. Örneklemi ise Huzursuz Bacak Sendromu (HBS) görülme sıklığı %19-26 alınarak yapılan güç analizine göre 0.05 etki büyüklüğünde ve 0.05 yanılgı düzeyi ile belirlenen % 95 güven aralığında 0.95 oranla evreni temsil gücüne sahip 612 gebe oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında "Gebe Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu", "HBS Tanı Kriterleri anket formu" ve "HBS Şiddet Değerlendirme Skalası" kullanılmıştır. Veriler Eylül 2020-Aralık 2020 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 25.0 istatistik programı üzerinde, frekans ve yüzde dağılımı, aritmetik ortalama, Bağımsız gruplarda t testi, Ki-Kare testi ve Cronbach's alpha kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmada gebelerin yaş ortalaması 26.64±5.37, gebelik haftaları ortalaması 24.83±11.67'dir. Gebelerin yaklaşık sekizde birinin HBS semptomuna sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada HBS olan gebelerin %19.8'i orta, %69.1'i şiddetli, %11.1'i ise çok şiddetli düzeyde HBS semptomu yaşadığı saptanmıştır. The Relationship Between the Frequency of Restless Legs Syndrome and The Use of Vitamins and Minerals During Pregnancy Aim: This study was conducted with the aim of examining the prevalence of restless legs syndrome in pregnancy and its relationship with vitamin and mineral use. Material and Method: The research is of cross-sectional type. The population of the study consisted of pregnant women who applied to the gynecology outpatient clinics of Siirt Training and Research Hospital. The sample consisted of 612 pregnant women with an effect size of 0.05 and a 95% confidence interval determined with 0.05 error level, with a ratio of 0.95 representing the universe, according to the power analysis performed by taking the incidence of RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) as 19-26%. "Pregnant Descriptive Information Form", "RLS Diagnostic Criteria Questionnaire" and "RLS Severity Assessment Scale" were used to collect data. Data were collected between September 2020 and December 2020. The data obtained from the research were evaluated using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program, frequency and percentage distribution, arithmetic mean, t test in independent groups, Chi-square test and Cronbach's alpha. Results: In the study, the mean age of the pregnant women was 26.64±5.37, and the mean week of gestation was 24.83±11.67. It has been determined that approximately one-eighth of the pregnant women have RLS (Restless Legs Syndrome) symptom. In the study, it was determined that 19.8% of the pregnant women with RLS experienced moderate, 69.1% severe and 11.1% very severe RLS symptoms. RLS symptoms were more common as the income status of the pregnant decreased, the week of gestation increased, the coffee consumption increased, the weight gained during pregnancy increased, and the number of weekly exercises decreased (p<0.05). In the study, it was determined that RLS was less common in pregnant women using magnesium, multivitamin, folic acid and vitamin D. Conclusion: It has been determined that RLS during pregnancy is an important health problem and the use of magnesium, multivitamin, folic acid and vitamin D reduces the incidence of RLS. Keywords: Pregnancy, Restless Leg Syndrome, Use of Vitamins and Minerals.
